Currently we have vacancies for Operating Department Practitioners. The successful candidate will be part of the Busy theatre department comprising of 5 theatres, 2 day surgery theatres, 3 minor procedure rooms, 2 endoscopy suites and 2 Cath Labs covering a broad range of specialities.
The Operating Department Practitioner works as part of the Theatre multidisciplinary team under the supervision of registered nurses and
· participates in the delivery of patient care
· contributes towards department organisation
· gives support to registered nurses in the provision of a safe and caring environment
Qualifications
· Operating Department Practitioner NVQ Level 3 ODP/City & Guilds or equivalent
· Or Provides evidence of membership of the health Professionals Council Uk
· Evidence of personal professional development.
