Dr Verma is a Consultant Dermatologist on the Specialist Register. She has worked as a Consultant Dermatologist at several major teaching hospitals including Tallaght Hospital, the Mater Hospital, and Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital Drogheda. She also works as a Consultant Dermatologist at the Institute of Dermatologists.
Dr Verma graduated from University College Dublin in 2004 obtaining her Medical Degree and Bachelors of Medical science Degree. She went on to complete her Higher Professional Training in Dermatology in Ireland in 2015.
Dr Verma has been published in peer reviewed journal articles, book chapters and abstracts in the field of dermatology and has also reviewed articles for peer reviewed journals including the British Journal of Dermatology. Dr Verma has also been involved as a clinical lecturer at the Royal College of Surgeons where she was involved in teaching, curriculum development and examinations, at both the undergraduate and post graduate levels.
Dr Verma completed her fellowship training at the University of Pennsylvania in 2012, where she completed her fellowship in autoimmune skin disease, in particular cutaneous lupus and dermatomyositis.
