Cosmetic or aesthetic surgery in general is not covered by medical insurance. The costs vary depending on the procedure performed and comprise of the surgeon’s fee, the anaesthetist’s fee and the hospital charge. Please be aware that the hospital charge is payable in full on admission. Your surgeon will be able to inform you of the costs of the procedure that you are planning.Financial information may also be obtained by contacting a member of the financial team at Blackrock Clinic at Freefone 1800 300 500. You may also be entitled to income tax relief on certain costs. Please refer to the Revenue website www.revenue.
