How do we keep our wound infection rates low?
- Most patient rooms are single occupancy with their own toilet
- We have a dedicated Infection Control Nurse
- Our staff are trained in hand hygiene and their performance in this area is regularly monitored
- We screen all high risk patients for MRSA carriage prior to admission
