Introduction
24 hr blood pressure monitor
This is a test that records blood pressure at regular intervals during the day and night over a 24 hour period.
The patient is fitted with a blood pressure cuff on the arm which is connected to a small recorder which is fitted around the patients waist. This is worn for 24 hours. Patients are asked to continue with their normal activities.
