Orthopaedic trauma can be life threatening and also impinge severely on short and long term mobility for the patient. It is imperative that when a patient presents at hospital with orthopaedic trauma they are quickly assessed and a treatment plan developed. Management of trauma usually requires surgery.

Orthopaedic Trauma can include: Fractures; Sports Injuries; Wounds; Sprains; Falls, along with many more accidental events.
