Professional Profile

Dr. Frances Stafford is a graduate of UCD. She trained at University of Toronto and Harvard Medical School, Massachusetts General Hospital in the Rheumatology Fellowship programmes. She was awarded a 4 year Postdoctoral Research Fellowship, which she completed at the National Institutes of Health, the largest medical research campus in the world, and was then appointed on staff there. Having become American Board Certified in Internal Medicine, she subsequently achieved a top 1% score in American Board Certification in Rheumatology.

She has served on the Boards of the Irish Society of Rheumatology and of Arthritis Ireland.
