Blackrock Clinic orthopaedic satellite centre opens in Limerick

First Orthopaedic clinic to be held Thursday 30th June at the Castletroy Park Medical Centre

Patients in the South West can now visit senior Blackrock Clinic consultant Orthopaedic surgeons in Limerick.  A satellite centre has been set up in the Castletroy Park Medical Centre where patients can meet a Blackrock Clinic consultant Orthopaedic surgeon several times per month.

The two consultant Orthopaedic surgeons are: Mr Stefan Byrne and Mr Garry Fenelon.  Both have outstanding international track records in Orthopaedic surgery.

Patients referred by a GP will be assessed locally in Limerick.  Should a surgical procedure be required, this will happen in the Blackrock Clinic in Dublin, and subsequent follow-up consultations will take place afterward in Limerick.  This limits the travel required for consultations and follow-up care.
