Blackrock Clinic resumes services with full Covid-19 protocols in place

Blackrock Clinic services are resuming across all areas. Tailored ICP systems are in place and “we are now as busy as would be normal at this time of year” according to James O’Donoghue, CEO. Feedback from returning consultants praises the quality of care given to their patients during the HSE agreement period, with a vote of thanks to hospital staff at every level.
Facilities now open for elective treatments include:
- Inpatient admissions,
- Day care and minor operations,
- Surgical admissions,
- Outpatient diagnostics, and with
- Emergency Department services resuming normal function.
Margaret O Donnell, Blackrock Clinic’s Medical Director, in conversation with Valerie Ryan of IMT, offered some interesting insights into the position of the private Hi-Tech hospital throughout, and emerging from, the government three-month framework agreement period.
