Blackrock Clinic welcomes the return of its online Virtual Clinic series for GPs following the Summer Break

Blackrock Clinic is delighted to announce the return of its GP Virtual Clinic series following the summer break. The first event in the Autumn online series is scheduled for 7pm-8pm on September 21st and will discuss the “Management of Obesity, and the Bariatric Surgical Journey with the Multidisciplinary Team at Blackrock Clinic.”
The aim of Tuesday’s GP Virtual Clinic is to discuss the latest developments in bariatric research and ensure that GPs have access to the best practices and information. Our speakers will have the opportunity to engage with GPs and discuss new trends in patient care in our live Q&A session.
Speaking at the event are some of Blackrock Clinic’s top consultants, including;
- Mr. William Robb, Consultant in Bariatric Surgery
- Prof. Mayilone Arumugasamy, Consultant in Bariatric Surgery
- Ms. Emer O’Driscoll, Clinical Dietitian
- Ms. Lorraine Maher, Clinical Dietitian
- Dr. Matilde Mijares Zamuner, Consultant Endocrinologist
- Dr. Finian Fallon, Chartered Psychologist.
Speaking before the commencement of the GP Virtual Clinic schedule, the Blackrock Clinic Chief Executive James O’Donoghue welcomed the return of the popular online series: “It’s a great opportunity for our team and GPs to ensure we maintain the highest level of patient treatment and care in areas that matter to our patients. This is just the first in a series of really interesting events between now and Christmas.”
The series will be running from September all the way through to December and will tackle a variety of topics and medical fields.
