Roberta is a Senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist in Blackrock Clinic qualifying from The University of Liverpool with an honours degree in Physiotherapy in 2002.
Roberta has gained extensive Musculoskeletal experience, working for 12 years in a major trauma hospital – The Royal Liverpool Hospital. During this time Roberta managed traumatic injuries to the Upper and Lower limbs and ran Spinal Triage clinics with Clinical Musculoskeletal Specialists.
Roberta has a particular interest in the upper limb and specialises in the rehabilitation of the Hand, Shoulder and Elbow. Roberta is highly skilled and carries out rehabilitation following trauma, elective surgery and non-operative management of Upper Limb Injuries and conditions using the most current evidence based practice. Roberta is a member of the Irish Association of Hand Therapists and has completed British Association of Hand Therapy(BAHT) Examinations. Further to this, Roberta is also an accredited acupuncturist, specialising in pain management with the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP).
