Aileen Kelly attained BSc Honours Degree in Physiotherapy ( Belfast), MSc in Manipulative Therapy(Coventry), Post Graduate Diploma in Sports Physiotherapy ( UK) and post graduate training from the Society of Orthopaedic Medicine, Acupuncture, Pilates & Manual Handling.

Aileen has worked in the UK & Ireland in both public & private settings.

In London, Aileen worked in St Bartholomew’s and The Whittington NHS Trust where she was a senior Physiotherapist and taught on the North London Hospitals MACP /Senior level Programme. As an Extended Scope Practitioner (ESP) for five years, Aileen established the Knee Triage Clinic and was an ESP in the Spinal Triage Clinic.

Aileen was Head Physiotherapist with The Royal Ballet Company, Covent Garden, for 7 years where she established a specialist Physiotherapy service and multidisciplinary rehabilitation team. Aileen toured nationally & internationally with the company. She also established & managed the Physiotherapy Service for Richmond Rugby Football Club.

Aileen was Clinical Tutor & Examiner on the MSc Manipulative Therapy & External Examiner for MSc Sports Physiotherapy Programmes at University College London & for the Manipulative Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (MACP). Aileen currently mentors the MSc Manipulative Therapy Programme, UCD.

Aileen has been a Senior Physiotherapist in Blackrock Clinic for over 10 years. Aileen has a special interest in Spinal & Lower limb rehabilitation. She has developed expertise in managing patients with Persistent pain & co-ordinates the Springback Programme developed in conjunction with Irish Life. Aileen is currently a committee member of the Chartered Physiotherapists in Manual Therapy (CPMT)
