Claire Lemass, Senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist

Claire is a Senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist in the Blackrock Clinic. Claire qualified from Trinity College Dublin with a degree in physiotherapy in 1986. Claire has a strong commitment to furthering her Professional Education and she completed  a Masters in Sports Medicine in UCD in 2006. Claire then completed a  Post Graduate Diploma in Neuro- Musculoskeletal  Physiotherapy from the University of Limerick  in 2016.

Claire has worked in a variety of hospitals and Physiotherapy practices. She spent 6 years working in UCD treating sports injuries. Claire has lectured in Anatomy on the UCD undergraduate Physiotherapy programme.

Claire joined  Blackrock Clinic in 2013. Since then, Claire has completed a number of post graduate courses and has a particular interest in the assessment and Rehabilitation of Shoulder Injuries. Claire has developed Blackrock Clinics Post-Operative Shoulder protocols and she  leads the Blackrock Clinic Shoulder service. Claire is a member of the shoulder community of Physiotherapists , based in University of Limerick.
