Welcome to the Oncology Department
A cancer diagnosis, or the fear of a cancer diagnosis, is a very difficult time for a patient. At a time such as this, patients need support and understanding against a backdrop of efficient expertise. The Oncology Department at Blackrock Clinic focuses on the diagnosis, treatment and management of cancer in a very compassionate and empathetic manner.
Cancer is a very complex disease and at Blackrock Clinic every patient receives care which is tailored specifically to their illness and needs.
After referral to a Medical Oncologist, the Consultant will work closely with the patient and an individual care plan and treatment regime will be put in place. Again, this will differ for every patient, but at Blackrock Clinic you can be confident of swift access to our efficient services.
The team in the Department assists and supports patients in their journey to gain control of their cancer.
