In the event that you require an Outpatient Diagnostic test, the consultant’s secretary will book the appointment for you. They will take details of your finance/insurance status and advise you to call Blackrock Clinic Freephone Enquiry Line 1800 60 10 60. We can advise:
- Insured Patients – We have Outpatient contracts which differ with each Irish health insurer. With your policy details, we can tell you whether you are covered or whether you need to pay and submit an outpatient claim. Should you be required to “pay & claim”, we will give you the price of the procedure. This fee will be due on the day of your test, when you will also receive your claim form and receipt.
Please Note: If your policy has an EXCESS, this is a one off payment per claim which may be asked for on admission. Many outpatient tests are excess exempt.
- Self Pay Patients – We will give you the price of the procedure, which will be due on the day of your test.
- Non – Irish Insurance – We will give you the price of the procedure, which will be due on the day of your test. You may then submit the receipt to your insurer.
