It is imperative that when a patient presents at hospital with orthopaedic trauma they are quickly assessed and a treatment plan developed. Blackrock Clinic’s Emergency Department is open seven days a week. It is a one stop medical service with direct access to the hospital’s renowned consultants, including the Orthopaedic team. The consultant trauma surgeon on call will attend to the trauma patient and devise a treatment plan, admitting the patient if necessary.
