Blackrock Clinic’s Radiology Department has a wide range of imaging equipment to diagnose various conditions or illnesses, having regularly invested in the gold standard in new diagnostic technologies from the leading global providers. These include general X-rays, Ultrasound, CT, Cardiac CT, Calcium Score, MRI and Cardiac MRI scans.

We also have a rapidly growing Specialist Radiology faculty, offering the diagnosis and treatment of patients using the least invasive techniques. This makes it hugely effective in reducing infection rates, recovery time and length of hospital stay.

All radiological procedures require a referral letter from a general practitioner or consultant.

Current outpatient opening hours are Mon – Thurs 8am – 6pm;   Fri 8am – 5pm

Insurance & Finance

If you have health insurance, you will find that certain outpatient radiology tests will be directly settled by your insurance provider. For others, you will be asked to pay on the day and submit a claim to your insurer.
