The Vascular Team at Blackrock Clinic assesses and performs procedures on the arterial and venous systems of the body.  They collaborate with other departments in the hospital such as the Cardiac department since there is often a crossover with their individual areas of expertise.The Vascular Department at Blackrock Clinic has an impressive team of three young and dynamic surgeons and three clinical vascular physiologists.  Until recently, Blackrock Clinic was the first and only private hospital to have its own Vascular lab working in conjunction with the vascular physiologists and surgery team.This presents a significant benefit to patients since their vascular health can be assessed efficiently onsite and directly prior to their first consultation with the consultant vascular surgeons.  This saves time and offers a great range of tests and assessments to patients to clarify their vascular situation.
