Chris joined the Blackrock Clinic team in 2016 as the Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy Manager.
As Manager of the department, he is proud to lead a highly skilled and experienced team of Therapists. The team strives to offer the most current, clinically effective, evidence based treatment options available, delivering this with care and compassion.
Chris graduated from Sydney University as a Physiotherapist in 1999. He then went on to work in Musculoskeletal Outpatients, later completing a Master of Health Science – Physiotherapy, from Sydney University in 2008.
Chris has worked in Physiotherapy Outpatient clinics in both private practice and hospital settings since graduating. He has specialised in the treatment of conditions of the lower limb, particularly tendinopathy.
Chris is currently a guest lecturer at UCD for the Undergraduate, Graduate Entry Program and Post-graduate Sports Physiotherapy programs. He has a particular interest in problems of the lower limb and has many years experience in the field of biomechanical assessment and orthotic prescription. He has recently introduced Shock Wave Therapy to Blackrock Clinic for treatment of Tendinopathy and Soft Tissue Injuries.
Chris continues to work as a hands on team member in the area of Physiotherapy Outpatient Services.
