Aileen Flynn – Manager, Blackrock Clinic Physiotherapy Department
Aileen Flynn joined the Blackrock Clinic team in 2020 as the Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy Manager.
As Manager of the department, she is proud to lead a highly skilled and experienced team of Therapists. The team strives to offer the most current, clinically effective, evidence based treatment options available, delivering this with care and compassion.
Professional Profile
Aileen graduated from Trinity College Dublin as a Physiotherapist in 1999. She then went on to work in Orthopaedics and Musculoskeletal Outpatients, later completing a Masters of Sports Physiotherapy from UCD in 2006.
Aileen has worked in both private practice and hospital settings since graduating. She has specialised in the treatment of sports injuries and spinal rehabilitation.
Aileen is currently a guest lecturer at UCD for the Undergraduate, Graduate Entry Program. She has a particular interest in back and neck pain and has many years of experience in this field.
Aileen continues to work as a hands on team member in the area of Physiotherapy Outpatient Services. She loves to run and has competed in numerous Ironman competitions around the globe.
