The Respiratory Department diagnoses and treats patients who are having difficulty with their breathing, either asleep or awake. Some common conditions patients may suffer from include: asthma, emphysema, sarcoidosis or Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD).

We have 6 Respiratory Consultants and 2 full-time and 2 part-time Respiratory technicians.
Depending on your procedure and your health policy, some of the Respiratory tests are covered by health insurance. You may also be entitled to tax relief on some of these.
