Aisling Hennessy, Clinical Specialist Physiotherapy, Cardiothoracic ICU

Aisling graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from The Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, Scotland in 2010. Aisling started her career working as a junior physiotherapist in NHS Grampian.  Having developed a keen interest in acute care and respiratory care, Aisling progressed to a senior physiotherapist in Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. Here she gained extensive experience in the acute respiratory management and rehabilitation of patients post-operatively and in ICU.

Aisling joined the cardiothoracic physiotherapy team at Blackrock Clinic in 2018 and has continued to develop in her area of interest completing a Masters in Cardiorespiratory Physiotherapy from University College London in 2020.
